Gleaming Onyx carefully selected for its beauty and color decorates this beautiful series. The large, highly polished semiprecious stones have a natural translucence that give the tile a beautiful sense of visual depth. Only routine maintenance is needed to protect Fritztile's Decorator Series from stains, scuffs, mild acids and alkalis. Fritztile is an economical, high-performance alternative to traditional poured in place terrazzo. By nature Onyx is translucent, therefore Decorator Onyx DS1600 Series is subject to reflect subfloor discolorations. We recommend using a white adhesive like Fritz FA-88 or PREMIUM #1 to avoid subfloor discoloration. It is very important that adhesive be spread out completely to mask any and all subfloor discolorations. Failure to do so may result in Decorator Onyx DS1600 Series reflecting shade variations.
